Bodegas Vega Real was founded in 1998 in Castrillo del Duero-Valladolid. The winery and adjacent vineyards are located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, more than 2,400 feet above sea level. Bodegas Vega Real’s optimum location, is the perfect setting for the kind of low yields that produces highly concentrated flavors.

The vineyards are planted with the indigenous Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes and other international varieties.
